Thanks to Techzing!

I wanted to renew my apology for cobwebs appearing on our blog lately. As mentioned, we’re frantically trying to deploy two new properties in the next few months in addition to our client work. If spontaneous human combustion is really possible, I’m sure I will be a victim shortly.
However, if you’re a tech addict as I am, there are other sources of tech content. I wanted to give a nod and plug to the folks at techzing (the software development odd couple) for their podcast. Justin Vincent and Jason Roberts do a great job there with their interviews, panel shows and the 1/1 banter. If you’re a tech entrepreneur their stories and those of their guests are well worth a listen.
Aside from the inherent awesomeness, we owe Jason and Justin much gratitude for the props they gave us on their last episode. Long story short, in addition to our day jobs here, my kiwiluv partner Karen and her cohort Ramesh have started a new venture called dluxe which will be providing affordable, custom tailored suits to the unwashed masses. This isn’t a kiwiluv property, but we’re helping with the technology aspect. We really liked the Generation Zero track that the techzing folks use as their lead-in/out, so through a complex email negotiation lasting literally minutes, Justin and I agreed to license the music for a donation to the podcast sufficient for them to grab a new mastering plugin for their audio, which is already head and shoulders above most podcasts on the feeds these days. In return, we were granted permission to use Generation Zero in the dluxe promo.
As an added bonus, they were kind enough to mention kiwitechpress.com, which will be launched in May. Sadly, due to this unanticipated publicity my plan to simply reset the timer on the landing page when I fall behind schedule will no longer work. I will actually have to deliver on time…:(.
In any case, many thanks for the shout out! Check out techzing…well worth it.
